Vicki Childs grew up in England, not far from Windsor Castle. She studied Psychology at the University of Surrey and spent most of her career working in the field of talent acquisition and training. She relocated to California with her husband in 2008, just before the birth of their first child. She now lives in Pasadena, California with her husband, two children, two dogs and a cat. Vicki blends the beauty of the English countryside and the bustle of London, with her new-found love of Pasadena, California in her debut novel ‘Rachel’s Butterflies’.

Working across a wide variety of industries including aeronautical, defense, financial markets and real estate, Vicki has helped leaders to identify and hire the best talent, engage their people, and inspire their teams to greater success. She relocated to California with her husband in 2008, just before the birth of their first child. She now lives in Pasadena, California with her husband, two children, two dogs and a cat. 'Rachel's Butterflies' is Vicki's first novel, but she is already hard at work on her second.
